## Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer - Sustainability to join our team in India.

The successful candidate will undertake technical reviews, peer reviews, and contribute to design. You will provide continuous feedback to the Local Head of GCC on protocol effectiveness and participate in project meetings. Your goal will be to develop positive relationships with the WSP UK Team and identify potential risk issues.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing delegated tasks to meet deadlines and flag resourcing concerns

- Identifying additional fees and developing team technical skills

- Contributing to winning more projects and achieving team utilization targets

- Completing timesheets accurately

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

- 12+ years of relevant work experience

- Proven experience in designing Building Services

- Membership in an accredited engineering body (e.g., MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, ASHRAE)

- Strong technical skills in Mechanical Engineering

- Experience with UK projects and various building types

- Proficiency in technical software such as HAP, Hevacomp, IES, and project management tools

- Fluency in English with excellent technical terminology understanding

Desired skills:

- Knowledge of BS, HTM, NBC, and UK codes

- Experience with energy strategies, renewable technologies, and low-energy designs
