## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and treatment plans. You will assist with exercises, modalities, and other treatments to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses.

Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations and treatment plans

- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist

- Provide patient education on exercise techniques and home programs

- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) required

- Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Texas required

- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
