## Description

We are looking for Senior Supplier Quality Engineers to help support our Intelligence Systems Team. These roles will be on the Quality Engineering Team and partner across the product development organization, production organization, and field operations organizations.

As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work inside and outside the organization to define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high quality and reliable hardware for Intelligence Systems.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with design teams to support design development process and provide design for manufacturability feedback

- Bring deep expertise in commodity manufacturing processes and inspection/measurement methods

- Drive supplier quality development processes throughout product development stages

- Partner with development engineering, product quality engineering, sourcing engineering, category management, and program management to deliver predictable supply

- Drive supplier quality readiness by analyzing key and critical characteristics

- Partner with Global Strategic Sourcing and Product Sourcing Engineering to drive overall supplier performance

- Own elimination of supplier risk to improve quality and reliability

- Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities

- Review supplier effectiveness of actions and share lessons learned

- Audit Quality Management System at suppliers

- Prepare, support, and lead supplier onsite audits and reviews

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy or similar technical field

- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least one commodity area

- Experience in scaling supplier capabilities and quality

- Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements

- Experience performing First Article Inspection

- Experience with driving supplier performance and evaluation

- Working knowledge of product development methodologies

- Strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects

- Analytical skills and experiences for data mining and statistical analysis

- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance

- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a technical field

- Experience in creating material and process specifications

- Working knowledge of non-destructive inspection techniques

- Experience qualifying metal joining methods

- Experience with managing special processes

- Experience in casting process qualification and development

- Process Failure Modes Effects and Analysis (PFMEA) experience

- Experience with government contracts and MIL standard requirements

- Experience with Teamcenter, NX, Oracle/Netsuite, Jira, and Foundry
