## Description

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will review residential mortgage loans to ensure compliance with agency, originator and/or investor guidelines, internal policies, Rating Agency requirements and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with 5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience and 2+ years of secondary market underwriting experience. You will work independently, manage your own priorities, and thrive in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

- Review residential mortgage loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agency, originator, and/or investor guidelines.

- Identify conditions and findings; review trailing documents as needed.

- Ensure all required documents are present and properly executed.

- Detect and resolve errors or discrepancies in loan files.

- Calculate income, debts, DTI, DSCR, and assets.

- Perform quality control checks and contribute to continuous process improvement.

- Support audit preparation and respond to findings from investors or regulatory bodies.

- Stay current on mortgage industry guidelines, regulatory changes, and investor overlays.

- Maintain working knowledge of internal systems.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience

- 2+ years of secondary market underwriting experience

- Knowledge of Operational Underwriting

- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
