## Description

As a Security Architect at Aristocrat, you will play a key role in protecting our innovative gaming content and technology. This role is critical in upholding our security standards and ensuring millions of players stay safe worldwide.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and execution of security architecture strategies, roadmaps, and reference models across enterprise and product environments, aligned to business priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Defining and evolving security architecture frameworks, standards, and patterns, applying SABSA principles to support scalable and business-aligned outcomes

- Serving as a senior technical advisor to leadership, translating complex risks into clear mentorship and influencing multi-functional decisions

- Overseeing architectural governance by reviewing and guiding designs across the organization to ensure alignment with security, regulatory, and operational requirements

- Partnering with engineering and product teams to evaluate and implement security technologies, promoting secure-by-design principles

- Ensuring security capabilities are integrated and continuously improved to address evolving threats and business needs

- Leading cross-functional efforts on complex security initiatives, applying sound judgment and practical problem-solving

- Contributing to the creation and refinement of security policies, standards, and guidelines to strengthen overall maturity

- Engaging with senior stakeholders to align on priorities, communicate risk, and support key security initiatives

We are looking for a highly experienced Security Architect with a proven track record in information security, preferably with experience in an Enterprise Security Architect role. You should have a good understanding of network build, client/server architecture, and cloud security across multiple cloud providers.

Requirements include:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in information security

- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or SABSA, are highly desirable

- Good understanding of network build, client/server architecture, and cloud security across multiple cloud providers

- Familiarity with SABSA framework is desirable

- Understanding of security technologies, standards, and frameworks, including NIST

- Proven blend of technical cybersecurity expertise and strong business insight, capable of translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable risk insights for diverse collaborators

- Demonstrable ability to collaborate across teams to support security initiatives through a pragmatic, risk-based approach

- Experience with threat modeling and developing architecture documentation and designs

- Must be able to develop presentations tailored for technical and non-technical audiences

- Clear and effective communication skills, paired with the ability to foster positive relationships and coordinate well with various groups

- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking to craft innovative solutions to complex security challenges

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proven experience in working with a geographically dispersed team
