## Description

As an LGV 2 Driver with Biffa Waste Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of local environments and communities.

Working as part of a single-person crew, you will drive various LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins from trade waste customers.

This role offers a competitive pay rate of £16.87 per hour, with a start time of 04:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional scheduled weekend work.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

- A valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card

- A good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety

- The ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects

- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements

- The ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Good awareness of health & safety procedures
