## Description

As a Technical Editor Senior at GDIT, you will oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for customers. You will produce clear, accurate, and well-structured technical documentation, edit and refine content, collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts, manage document versions and deadlines, ensure content follows required templates and accessibility standards, review incoming documentation requests, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain timely communication with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Produce clear, accurate, and well-structured technical documentation

- Edit and refine content for grammar, clarity, organization, and logical flow

- Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and other subject matter experts

- Manage document versions, status tracking, and deadlines

- Ensure all content follows required templates, formatting guidelines, and accessibility standards

- Review incoming documentation requests and prioritize assignments

- Conduct root cause analysis on documentation issues and recommend improvements

- Maintain timely, professional communication with project stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

- 5+ years of related experience in technical editing, documentation, or knowledge management

- Technical skills: technical editing and structured authoring, content management systems, Microsoft Office, AI tools, BPA techniques

- Public Trust security clearance level

- No US citizenship required
