## Description

Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing a consistent and exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting guests, and ensuring their needs are met. Your tasks will include preparing handcrafted beverages and food, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests

- Prepare handcrafted beverages and food to specifications

- Manage inventory and maintain a clean workspace

- Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas

- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards

- Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, and inventory accuracy

- Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience for guests

- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout your shift

- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations

- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards

- Follow all food safety requirements

- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space

- Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process according to best practices

- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders

- Follow proper perishable inventory procedures

- Execute sampling best practices

- Complete all required training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Work in a safe manner at all times and comply with all safety policies and training

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up

Requirements:

- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards all guests and team members

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment

- Ability to work both independently and with a team

- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues

- Interpret instructions, reports, and information

- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed

- Climb up and down ladders if needed

- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely

- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to work in environments with refrigeration and freezer temperatures

- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements

- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
