## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Advocate Health in Rome, GA. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensure patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive and functional, and establish treatment plans with realistic goals.

Responsibilities:

- Provide patient care assessment and treatment

- Ensure patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional, and according to the Standard of Practice

- Develop treatment plans with realistic goals

- Supervise support staff assisting with patient care

- Maintain accurate documentation

- Meet department financial and productivity standards

- Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services

- Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers

- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers

Requirements:

- B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school

- Current licensure in the state of Georgia

- CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C

- Previous hospital experience preferred

Work Environment:

- Subject to stress conditions

- Moderate noise environment

- Clean, well-lit, comfortable climate

- Frequent exposure to bloodborne pathogens and airborne pathogens

- Contact with patients under various circumstances

- May make home visits

Physical Requirements:

- Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, finger and hand dexterity, talking, hearing, seeing

- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
