## Description

Our Global Enterprise Segment is seeking a Solutions Engineer (SE) to serve as a trusted advisor and partner to our top Enterprise Customers in the Charlotte region. You will develop technical relationships with customers daily and collaborate with the Account Manager to recommend and lead solution development. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities

- Building a consultative relationship with the customer and collaborating with Product teams to develop customer-focused architectures

- Leading the architectural sales motion associated with Cisco's technology strategy

- Identifying top opportunities and designing top-down future state architectures

- Building creative architectural solutions to address customer business problems

- Delivering technical presentations to customers and demonstrating business relevance to executive stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have relevant networking/telecommunications/datacenter industry-related experience, Cisco product experience, and pre-sales experience with knowledge of baseline SE/SA skills. Excellent technical consulting skills, including the ability to define trade-offs and ask probing questions, are required.

In terms of qualifications:

- Relevant industry experience and Cisco product knowledge

- Pre-sales experience with SE/SA skills and in-depth knowledge in at least one adjacent technology

- Excellent technical consulting skills

Preferred qualifications include:

- BS/BA or equivalent experience

- Proven technical aptitude with relevant Industry Certifications

- Prior experience working with enterprise and manufacturing customers

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong problem-solving skills

The starting salary range for this position is $209,100.00 to $275,100.00, reflecting the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations.
