## Description

We are seeking a Consulting Senior Analyst I to join our team at Dow Jones Energy in New Delhi.

The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our consulting practice, bringing expertise in the energy and chemical sectors to deliver insightful market analysis and strategic advice to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis for consulting projects

- Review and analyse market and pricing data from internal databases and publications

- Apply deep knowledge of the energy/petrochemical/chemical sector to deliver commercial and techno-economic recommendations

- Collaborate with cross-functional consulting and research teams to drive project success

- Act as a key team member and lead execution of project specific tasks

- Assist in preparation of project proposals for clients

- Utilize understanding and expertise in the energy/petrochemical/chemical sector to provide commercial or techno-economic insights

- Contribute to team discussions on various consulting projects as a knowledgeable stakeholder

**Qualifications:**

- A minimum of B.Sc./B.Eng./B.Tech. degree in chemical engineering or chemistry is required

- A postgraduate degree in science or business management will be considered as an advantage

**Experience:**

- At least 2 years of experience in a commercial or techno-economic role in the energy, refining or petrochemical industry or within energy/refining/petrochemical market consultancy is required

- Broad understanding of the energy and petrochemicals business, the structure of industry, the production technologies, and economic aspects such as energy and chemical markets and pricing is desirable

- Proven track record of analytics and market consultancy work is essential

**Skills:**

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough research and analysis

- Good command of the English language in written and spoken forms

- Experience in writing analytical reports is desirable

- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration

- Additional language skills are a plus

- Proficiency in MS Office suite of programs
