## Description

Mejuri is looking for a Lead Piercer to join their team in Kierland Commons, Scottsdale. As a Lead Piercer, you will be responsible for overseeing the piercing customer journey, managing the piercing studio, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the piercing customer journey from start to finish

- Provide calm and professional demeanor in piercing services

- Act as an ambassador of Mejuri and promote customer awareness about the brand

- Build a strong clientele in the local market

- Ensure insights and opportunities are communicated back to the Store Manager and Store Services

- Work closely with the Store Manager to improve the flow and process of the Mejuri piercing studio

- Update the schedule and online booking service

- Explain proper aftercare to clients and inform them of signs and symptoms of infection

- Thoroughly explain service procedures and risks to clients

- Lead by example and validate the quality of the in-store customer experience

- Ensure positive customer experience and promotion of services offerings

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the piercing studio

- Support inventory management and feedback with Operations Lead and Store Services team

- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained

- Uphold legal compliance in all customer interactions

- Remain knowledgeable on Mejuri products and become an expert on the piercing jewelry assortment

- Support the check-up and downsizing process for each individual client

- Style, stack, and suggest products for piercing clients

- Build piercing appointment occupancy

- Communicate with Store Services to order necessary piercing equipment

- Ensure all legislated paperwork and client record keeping is met and maintained

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience with needle piercing

- Experience working with threadless jewelry

- Up-to-date with First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications

- Experience working with an autoclave or statim

- Local law enforcement registration or meeting requirements for permits

- Understanding of local market piercing law requirements

- Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols

- Demonstrated understanding of service excellence

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
