## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist, PRN, Outpatient to join our team at Davie Medical Center located at 329 NC Highway 801 N, Bermuda Run, NC.

The successful candidate will be expected to work at least 16 hours a month, including at least one weekend shift a month and a holiday during Nov-New Years, Memorial Day - Labor Day.

The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $49.00.

Responsibilities:

- Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice.

- Maintain accurate patient documentation, completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.

- Meet department financial and productivity standards, understanding budgeted expectations and maintaining productivity standards.

- Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying quality and operational opportunities.

- Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers, providing representation on committees and conducting in-service training programs.

- Supervise physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students to develop their clinical skills and ensure quality patient care.

- Communicate professionally and timely with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.

- Provide appropriate patient care according to age/developmental guidelines, demonstrating age/developmentally specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.

- Adhere to general hospital standards, promoting a cooperative work environment through communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building.

Requirements:

- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensure.

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school.

- CPR certification required every two years.
