## Description

Deutsche Bank is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Corporate Coverage Japan team in Japan. As a Coverage Banker, you will support key client relationships, produce timely analysis, compile competitor data, and create pitch book presentations.

The Banker will develop an understanding of origination processes, product offerings, and assist with internal desk reports and pipeline information, under the guidance of Global coverage bankers and heads.

**Responsibilities:**

- Originate and grow business from existing clients and deepen relationships across products

- Advise clients on macroeconomic, geopolitical issues, and regulatory trends in Asia/Japan

- Set up strong momentum on client callings

- Ensure Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients

- Close coordination with global, regional, and local relationship bankers

- Liaise with global and local credit risk management teams

- Keep abreast of developments in the client business and industry ecosystem

- Own Client Adoption, Client Life-cycle Management/Know Your Customer process

**Requirements:**

- 5+ years of banking experience in managing corporate bank LLCs or MNCs

- Broad understanding of the corporate business environment, regulatory and market trends across Asia/Japan

- Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills

- Knowledge of Capital Markets beneficial

- Educated to degree level in a relevant financial discipline or with relevant industry experience

- Strong Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

- Very strong and persuasive communication skills in English; Japanese language ability desirable
