## Description

We are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial accounting deliverables in Malaysia.

**Job Summary** The successful candidate will provide oversight of financial accounting deliverables, manage a team to ensure compliance with RBC and statutory requirements, and review financial reports.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide oversight of financial accounting deliverables, including Financial Control, Accounts Payable, Performance Management, and Statutory Reporting

- Manage a team to ensure all reporting is in line with RBC and statutory requirements

- Complete year-end audits and ensure financial statements are accurately completed and submitted on time

- Review financial reports and attend meetings with stakeholders

- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting

- Enhance business partnering capabilities of Malaysia Finance

- Conduct reviews of business costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives

- Participate in local and global projects to drive process improvements

- Support the Head of Finance in strategy, priorities, and team management

- Identify high-performing individuals and provide development opportunities

**Requirements**

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices

- Experience in managing teams and financial reporting

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
