## Description

AVL Mobility Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated Project Engineer I - Design to join our team. As a Project Engineer I - Design, you will provide technical expertise to cross-functional business development and engineering program team execution activities.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and formulate workflow to meet specified deadlines with minimal supervision

- 3D design and engineering responsibility for components and subsystems

- 2D detailing and preparation of manufacturing documentation

- Use and understand data management tools such as Windchill and Teamcenter

- Resolve engineering and design conflicts

- System management responsibilities

- Support system engineering tasks related to architecture, resolving design constraints, and establishing interfaces

Qualifications/Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Associate's degree

- Four or more years of design experience

- 3D design experience with HV and/or LV wiring and harnesses

- Formal knowledge of GD&T

- Good CAD skills on one or more systems, preferably Siemens NX

- Fluent in PDM software, preferably Teamcenter

- Analytical thinking, motivated, team player, customer-oriented, and flexible

Physical Requirements:

- Visual requirement: enough to read

- Balance: maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling

- Climbing stairs: ascending or descending stairs

- Light carrying: physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds

- Moderate carrying: items weighing 15 to 45 pounds

- Light lifting: raising objects under 15 pounds

- Moderate lifting: objects 15-45 pounds

- Heavy lifting: objects 45 pounds and over

- Sitting, standing, and walking

Mental Requirements:

- Comprehension: ability to understand opposing points of view

- Organization: ability to organize and prioritize work schedules

- Reasoning and decision making: ability to make decisions with significant impact

- Communication: ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
