As a Starbucks Barista, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by curating handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food, managing food quality and freshness, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Responsibilities: - Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments - Greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience - Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude - Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience - Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations - Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards - Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, in-stock routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organising, and storing reserve product - Always be aware of current and future promotions within Starbucks - Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience for guests while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety - Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time - Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout shift - Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards - Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards - Follow all food safety requirements, including monitoring and recording temperature-sensitive food items - Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space - Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process according to best practices - Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices - Follow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure an accurate recording of inventory - Execute sampling best practices - Complete all required training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products - Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance - Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible Requirements: - Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required - Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members - Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed - Work both independently and with a team - Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot - Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes - Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes Benefits: - Competitive benefits from financial and education to well-being and beyond ## Skills ### Required - communication - teamwork - problem-solving - attention to detail - food safety ### Nice to have - previous Starbucks experience - food service experience --- Source: [Apply at target.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com](https://target.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/targetcareers/job/1707-J-St-SacramentoCA-95811-3007/Starbucks-Barista_R0000477405?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply)
