## Description

As part of a fast-paced retail environment, the Accountant - Business Intelligence will work closely with both finance and technology teams as well as cross-functionally across the organisation.

The role involves:

- Automating standard weekly reporting to remove unnecessary effort

- Solving business problems through data, reporting, dashboards, and visualisations

- Building Looker/Looker Studio dashboards and associated data flow processes

- Creating insights from data via Google sheet reports/outputs

- Improving performance and outcomes

- Answering ad-hoc queries and supporting business projects

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven ability to assimilate complex data and transform it into information to support business decision-making

- Ability to set and work to targets and deadlines while maintaining accuracy

- Planning and prioritising daily workload to meet tight deadlines

- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets skills

- Knowledge of Google Looker and/or Python is advantageous

- Experience of building reports and creating insights in Excel/Google Sheets

- Experience of building reporting dashboards (Power BI/Tableau/Looker Studio)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurised environment

- Proven ability for developing insightful reporting and analysis
