## Description

Syneos Health is seeking an Associate Director Finance to ensure the integrity of revenue recognition policies and set standards for financial reporting. The successful candidate will functionally or directly supervise a team of finance professionals and partner with therapeutic areas to achieve and exceed their financial targets.

**Core Responsibilities**

- Oversees management and direction of assigned accounting personnel

- Recommends, develops, and maintains INCR revenue recognition principals, policy, processes, systems, practices, controls, and procedures

- Records and reports project revenues for each contract type in accordance with GAAP and the Revenue recognition policy

- Works closely with therapeutic areas to ensure revenue recognition policies are being followed consistently

- Performs quarterly review of the company's financial applications and documents processes and procedures

- Develops, reviews, and approves proposals, change orders, and contract payment milestone terms

- Reviews, reports, and summarizes project results and metrics at the project and executive level

- Ensures backlog reporting is current and accurate

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Extensive, progressive financial experience

- Demonstrated leadership skills with one year of direct management experience preferred

- Strong computer skills utilizing Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, MAS90, or related accounting packages

- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Effective presentation, documentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills
