## Description

We are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in Newcastle Upon Tyne or Stockton-On-Tees. As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will undertake structural engineering design for discrete packages of work, including production of reports, calculation packages, and specifications.

You will supervise technicians in the production of 3D models and drawings, communicate design solutions verbally and through sketching, drawing, writing, and presentations, and visit sites to carry out inspections during the construction phase.

The successful applicant will have an engineering degree and hold Chartered status (MIStructE / MICE), with a working knowledge of structural engineering principles and the application of Eurocodes. You will be expected to have a developing understanding of analytical techniques and design software, an interest in low-carbon design, and a willingness to take responsibility for your designs.
