## Description

As a Corporate Development Analyst at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people around the world and make an impact by engaging closely with Corporate Development Managers and business leaders to identify, evaluate, and develop acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- Engage closely with Corporate Development Managers and business leaders to understand strategies and partner with them to identify, evaluate, and develop acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities

- Support the development of creative and highly tailored deal structures and processes that result in optimal solutions for unique project objectives

- Support the overall project management of large, complex, global transactions

- Work with business units to conduct all aspects of due diligence and validate assumptions

- Prepare accurate financial packages for executive committees

- Occasionally lead smaller projects of moderate risk and complexity

- Form trusted relationships with business decision-makers

- Continually increase your understanding of 3M's unique history, culture, and capabilities

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher

- Two years of combined experience in mergers and acquisitions, finance, and/or consulting

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA from an accredited university

- Minimum of three years of experience in mergers and acquisitions

- Minimum of one year of experience in valuation analysis

- Working knowledge of accounting, finance, tax, legal, and business operations

- Advanced Excel skills

- Strong financial acumen

- Creative problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills
