## Description

The Accountant supports the Accounting Manager, Hong Kong in the Continent’s accounting operations and processes.

Responsibilities include:

- Daily accounting functions such as accounts payable, T&E, corporate credit card, and general ledger

- Ensuring timely processing and proper validation of vendor invoices and employee expense claims

- Supporting month-end closing, processing journal entries, and performing monthly account reconciliations

- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and addressing related queries

- Participating in process improvement initiatives and system implementation projects, including UAT testing

- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls

- Developing and streamlining processes and procedures to enhance workflows and efficiency

- Performing ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma holder in Accounting or related discipline

- Minimum 2 years of commercial accounting experience

- Preference for accounting experience with major multinational corporations

- Experience in developing financial analytical reports will be a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel

- Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft is an advantage

- Fluency in Chinese and English is required

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities

- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
