We are seeking a Senior Transport/Mercantile Claims Handler (Marine & Cargo) and/or Civil Liability (CL) to join our team in Madrid.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of transport and mercantile claims and/or civil liability claims, ensuring efficient and quality processing in accordance with internal procedures and regulations.

**Responsibilities:**

- Comprehensive management of transport and mercantile claims and civil liability claims

- Opening, analysis, processing, resolution, payment/refusal, and closure of files

- Coordination and review of necessary documentation

- Communication with insurers, clients, experts, lawyers, and other stakeholders

- Analysis of coverage and application of policy criteria

- Resolution of claims (payments/ refusals)

- Management of recoveries from third parties

- Monitoring and correct documentary management in processing tools

- Preparation of reports and administrative-technical support to the area

**Requirements:**

- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing transport and/or civil liability claims (essential)

- Knowledge of insurance regulations, especially in Civil Liability and Transport (merchandise)

- Handling of claims management tools

- Organised, autonomous, and results-oriented profile

- Good oral and written communication skills

- Ability to work with multiple files simultaneously

**Preferred:**

- Previous experience in claims handling environments

- Knowledge of international claims

- Minimum B2 level of English

- Analytical capacity and attention to detail
