## Description

Thought Machine is seeking a Senior Security Control Engineer to evaluate threats and risks, design and implement technical and operational solutions, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and industry certifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in cloud-based infrastructure, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in the design and implementation of security controls and capabilities

- Develop and implement continuous audit and assurance processes

- Respond to client queries and develop materials for distribution and presentation

- Ensure the approach to security and business continuity is kept up to date

Requirements:

- Experience designing and implementing technical solutions for security controls in cloud-based infrastructure

- Experience working with software engineering teams

- Strong technical background in distributed systems, cloud security, and related technologies

- Excellent communication skills
