## Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Expert, VP to join our team at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Margin Operations, focusing on minimizing Deutsche Bank's counterparty credit risk on its collateralized derivatives portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Be a central point of contact for external clients on valuations and respond to their queries/disputes in a timely and professional manner

- Coordinate with various departments globally to resolve escalated customer inquiries and disputes

- Close interaction with regional and global teams to ensure consistency in procedures and policy

- Manage risks relating to specific processes and identify any deviations from established policies and guidelines

- Re-engineer the current process to meet the changing needs of the business

- Lead and contribute to various projects to increase efficiency in the process, improve client experience, and enhance the control environment

- Monitor KPIs and KRIs of the process and define/enhance them as required

- Groom and coach team members to take on stretch assignments

- Act as the key SPOC for any process reviews by control functions

- Perform proactive risk reviews to identify and remediate control gaps

**Requirements:**

- Degree educated in Finance, Commerce or related field with a minimum of 15 years of work experience in a Banking/Finance environment

- Experience working in a global, cross matrix reporting organization

- Detailed understanding of Derivatives, Trade Life Cycle, UnCleared Margin Rules, reconciliations, and settlements processes

- Strong organizational skills; ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks

- Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation

- Independent problem solver who demonstrates accountability and execution capability
