## Description

We are seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Global Risk Management Department at Portfolio Research in Mumbai, India.

The Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative frameworks used by portfolio managers and senior management teams to measure and manage risks associated with equity derivatives portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain robust frameworks for risk measurements

- Create frameworks to deliver insights on portfolio manager strategies and risks

- Collaborate with technology, risk, portfolio, and business managers to optimize our quantitative framework

- Partner with the Technology department to streamline the transition of quantitative models into production environments

- Lead research into and implementation of various quantitative models

Requirements:

- Degree in a quantitative major: statistics, mathematics, engineering

- 1-4 years of professional experience in a quantitative role in a financial organization, or an advanced degree in a quantitative field

- Good understanding of derivatives and valuation

- Strong programming skills, prior experience with Python (Polars and/or Pandas) or SQL

- Proficiency in at least a compiled and statically typed language is a plus

- Demonstrated programming ability on public repositories, e.g., GitHub

- Sense of responsibility and integrity, intellectual curiosity, and spirit of initiative

- Ability to work independently and effectively manage ambiguity
