## Description

We are seeking a skilled Full-time Farsi & Dari Interpreter & Translator to join our team at Millennium Translations Ltd in Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing interpretation and translation services in various settings, including mental health, healthcare, and legal sectors.

**Main Requirements:**

- Possess a full UK driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

- Provide a current, valid Enhanced CRB clearance.

- Offer references to verify interpreting and translation experience.

- Be fluent in English and culturally competent in their native language(s).

**Role of an Interpreter & Translator:** The role involves consecutive interpretation, converting one language to another in real-time, and translation of documents across various industries, ensuring accurate conveyance of the original meaning.

**Interpretation Responsibilities:**

- Interpret in their native language within various settings such as mental health, hospitals, courts, and schools.

- Translate verbal communications in real-time with attention to context, tone, and technical wording.

- Consult reference materials to stay updated with terminology.

- Attend booked assignments and adhere to professional behavior and confidentiality.

**Requirements:**

- Qualifications in interpreting, translation, or linguistics (MA, BA, DPSI, Community Interpreting Certificate).

- Minimum of one year's professional experience and 200 hours of previous interpreting experience, preferably within the public sector.

- Two references for previous translation projects.
