## Description

The Logistics Finance team at HP, Inc. is seeking recent graduates in Financial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related fields to join as Freight Accounting Analysts.

This role provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, trend and variance analysis, and process automation. You will work with tools such as S/4HANA, Power BI, and other financial platforms while supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and business decision-making.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform account reconciliations and journal entries, and support month-end closing activities.

- Extract and analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and key financial drivers.

- Support financial analysis for the Logistics Finance organization and provide insights to key stakeholders.

- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including expense reviews and variance analysis.

- Interpret financial information, including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow data.

- Develop an understanding of the organization's financial processes, operations, and business.

- Support financial reporting activities while ensuring compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies.

- Use tools such as S/4HANA, Power BI, and other platforms to analyze data and support process automation.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within finance activities.

- Support priority projects through research, data analysis, and regular communication with internal stakeholders.

**Education & Experience Recommended:**

- Four-year degree in Financial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

- Recent graduate or typically 0-2 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.

- Strong interest in developing a career in Finance.
