## Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer at 3M in Hutchinson, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people around the world and make an impact by:

- Actively supporting EHS improvements

- Leading value stream improvement projects

- Driving improvements in safety, quality, service, and cost for manufacturing lines and associated products

- Supporting rapid resolution of customer complaints, including timely response, and implementation and communication of corrective actions

- Providing daily production support and troubleshooting for assigned products and manufacturing operations

- Working with cross-functional teams to launch new product introductions

- Improving manufacturing operations using continuous improvement and project management tools

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or other manufacturing STEM degree

- Two years of experience in Product, Process, Quality, and/or Manufacturing Engineering

Preferred qualifications include:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering

- Five years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering roles

- Experience with processes that involve film/web handling

- Proficiency in the use of statistical tools and data analysis in problem solving

- Experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts and methodologies to manufacturing

- Leadership experience with driving quality improvement and cost reduction projects

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload

The expected compensation range for this position is $122,292 - $149,468 per year, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay.
