## Description

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Credit Cards business at Barclays. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for maximising the value of the product by defining a clear product vision, managing authoring, refining, and prioritising the Product Backlog, and ensuring the product meets user/customer needs and delivers optimal value.

**Accountabilities:**

- Ensure Product Alignment with Business Goals

- Communicate Product Vision to Delivery Teams

- Create and Refine User Stories

- Participate in Agile Events

- Manage the Product Backlog

- Act as the Voice of the Customer

- Define and Manage Acceptance Criteria

- Collaborate with Stakeholders

- Monitor Product Performance and Iterate

- Manage Risk and Control

**Assistant Vice President Expectations:**

- Advise and influence decision making

- Lead a team performing complex tasks

- Demonstrate leadership behaviours

- Collaborate with other functions/business divisions

- Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures

**Requirements:**

- Demonstrable experience of working with and managing a broad range of stakeholders in a matrix environment

- Experience delivering change in large-scale digital environments

- Able to translate onshore product direction and regulatory intent into clear, prioritised backlogs and high-quality delivery artefacts

- Considerable understanding of Customer journey management and improvement

- Knowledge of market trends, competitor landscape, and ability to benchmark against set goals

- Strong problem-solving capability

- Experience of using data to make decisions and recommendations

- Intermediate level of Excel and PowerPoint

- Knowledge and application of agile ways of working methodology including JIRA

- Considerable commercial acumen

- Strong judgement on when to act vs when to align or escalate

- Proven experience in a regulated unsecured lending environment
