## Description

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Gosforth Shopping Centre. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for cleaning the shopping centre mall and associated areas, including hoovering, mopping, using a ride-on floor machine, and toilet cleaning. You will also empty waste and top up consumables.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Maintain a clean and smart appearance, wearing the company uniform at all times

- Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with BICSc standards

- Follow ABM's Health and Safety procedures

- Carry out cleaning duties as directed by the team leader

- Work in a proactive manner, supporting colleagues and suggesting improvements to working practices

- Undertake ad hoc duties as required

**Requirements:**

- Excellent attendance

- Ability to work to routine schedules

- Proactive and able to find tasks

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent timekeeping

- Good communication skills
