## Description

We are seeking a Senior Developer Advocate to serve as the face and voice of 1Password's developer story, particularly in the area of identity and access control for AI agents.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in technical roles such as software/platform engineering, developer advocacy, or solutions engineering.

Responsibilities:

- Build hands-on demos and videos showcasing how to use 1Password, specifically for securing AI agents, service accounts, and machine identities.

- Develop and maintain a genuine presence on platforms like Reddit and X, engaging with the community and growing 1Password's developer voice.

- Represent 1Password at major developer conferences, delivering talks and creating engaging content.

- Guide the company's open-source strategy, prioritizing and guiding what 1Password open sources.

- Create supporting content such as blog posts, tutorials, and reference code for developers.

- Foster a developer community around 1Password.

Requirements:

- Technical fluency with 5+ years in technical roles.

- Existing presence on platforms like X, YouTube, or Reddit as a technical voice.

- Experience building AI agents and working with Model Context Protocol (MCP).

- Content production skills for creating demo videos and short-form content.

- Community-building experience, preferably growing a developer community from scratch.

- Open-source judgment and experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.

- Public speaking experience at major developer conferences.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with security-conscious developer communities or products.

- Contributions to or maintenance of MCP servers, agent frameworks, or related open-source tooling.

In terms of compensation, the annual base salary for this role ranges from $133,000 USD to $186,000 USD, supplemented by immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program, utilization of generous paid time off, an equity grant, and potential participation in incentive programs.
