## Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Staffing Bank at Spire Elland Hospital. This role will support our Pre Assessment Team, offering a work-life balance with flexibility.

Spire Elland Hospital has been providing high-quality medical treatment and personal care since 1985. Our hospital features a full multi-disciplinary medical team on-site, practicing advanced treatments with the latest imaging and diagnostic technology.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct assessments both face-to-face and over the phone

- Liaise with various services such as Anaesthetics and consultants

- Have a strong understanding of, and the ability to follow, policies and criteria for surgical suitability

**Requirements:**

- Be NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your PIN

- Previous experience working in a hospital setting, ideally Pre-Operative Assessment (POA)

- Compassionate with excellent patient care skills

- Ability to multi-task

- Strong communication skills

- Computer literate with good IT skills

- Phlebotomy skills desirable (training can be provided)
