## Description

We are seeking an Engineering Specialist - Process (T. Plant H/C) to join our team in Chihuahua, Mexico.

As an Engineering Specialist - Process, you will be responsible for defining, integrating, and optimising machining processes for cylinder head and crankshaft production lines. You will coordinate the installation and validation of equipment and processes, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, capacity, and cycle time requirements from acceptance testing to production start-up.

**Responsibilities**

- Define the sequence of operations, process flow, and machining parameters.

- Review the selection and integration of machines, tooling, fixtures, cutting tools, and measurement systems.

- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for acceptance testing, installation, pilot runs, and process release.

- Analyse capacity, cycle time, line balancing, tool life, and causes of rejection or variation.

- Develop and update process documentation, including flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.

- Support training programs for technical, operational, and supervisory personnel.

- Participate in resolving quality and process issues through root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.

- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Controls, and Safety to ensure a stable start-up.

- Monitor process indicators and prepare for process transfer to the production team.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

- Experience in machining process engineering in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.

- Knowledge of CNC processes, cutting tools, workpiece fixturing, metrology, and machining problem-solving.

- Experience in integrating, validating, or launching production machines and lines.

- Familiarity with quality and continuous improvement tools, such as PFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA, and root cause analysis.

- Ability to coordinate with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams, work on the shop floor, and track multiple activities.

- Technical English proficiency is desirable for reviewing documentation and coordinating with international suppliers.
