The global Reuters News Internship Program gives you the chance to fast-track your journalism career and develop your skills across a variety of subjects and media. We welcome passionate and curious reporters, producers and photojournalists who want to tell stories for a global audience.

We are looking for an intern to work with our Finance and Markets team in New York, reporting on financial markets, companies and the global economy.

**Responsibilities**

- Commitment to a career in journalism

- Drive to build sources, break news and deliver deeply reported stories

**Requirements**

- Excellent writing and communication skills

- Good working knowledge of writing and reporting in English required

**The Role**

- Paid 12-week internship, starting from 21st June, 2027

- An assigned Senior Editor as a mentor

- Formal training and coaching

- Interns are expected to pitch and deliver in-depth stories during their assignment

- Participants who excel may be considered for future opportunities at Reuters
