## Description

As an Associate Product Designer, you will join a team that works diligently to understand and solve our customers' most challenging problems. You will learn how to be a successful product designer at a high-growth enterprise technology company that operates at the important intersection of data and AI.

The impact you will have:

- Work with a cross-functional team to build features for the Databricks platform

- Manage your project end-to-end, from discovery and ideation through final design prototype for engineering to implement from

- Work with engineers and designers to ship features on the Databricks platform

- Conduct research with customers to better understand their needs and improve your design

What we look for:

- You will graduate in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a bachelors or masters degree in HCI or related design practice

- You have the demonstrated ability to leverage AI tooling in your design process without sacrificing craft

- You use good judgement in visual hierarchy, layout, and information architecture to inform your design work

- You have some first hand experience with SQL and/or Python

- You're hands-on and learn by doing , happy to build, test, and iterate your way to an answer

- You use analytical skills to make data-driven decisions

- You can make complex topics simple and communicate your design perspective to partners in both written and verbal form

- You're excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team

- You stay curious and keep learning, whether it's a new technology, a customer's domain, or a corner of the product you haven't touched
