## Description

We are seeking an ambitious law student with strong legal analytical skills and interest in corporate law to join our Corporate M&A practice group in Amsterdam for a two-month internship.

During your internship, you will work closely with our team on complex national and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate governance issues. You will have the opportunity to learn about the structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions, as well as the provision of legal and strategic advice in an international and commercially driven context.

Our Corporate M&A practice group advises leading national and international clients, including listed companies, private equity firms, financial institutions, and multinationals. You will gain insight into different phases of the transaction process and understand the role of a lawyer in a practice group where legal quality, strategic insight, and collaboration are central.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct legal research

- Analyze laws, regulations, case law, and transaction documentation

- Support due diligence activities

- Assist with transaction documentation and advice

- Prepare for internal meetings and client work

- Provide input on legal and strategic issues within ongoing transactions

**Requirements:**

- Studying Dutch Law

- Excellent academic results

- Strong legal analytical skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and good command of English

- Meticulous and careful working style

- Curious, driven, and detail-oriented

- Willingness to collaborate in an ambitious and internationally oriented team

- Demonstrated interest in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, or corporate governance is preferred
