## Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Early Talent Program. You will work alongside experienced engineers, learn how high-performance backend systems are designed and operated, and contribute code that runs in real environments used by customers worldwide.

The Compute Control Plane team builds the core of the Nebius cloud: the Compute API, through which every VM, disk, snapshot, and GPU cluster is created. The service manages 50K+ resources across 10+ regions and coordinates with storage, networking, quotas, billing, and IAM, handling long-running operations and hardware failures along the way. We work in Go, gRPC, Temporal, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:

- You will get hands-on experience with distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and engineering best practices in a team working at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure.

- You will work on projects such as snapshots, live VM updates, resource reservation, rate limiting, and protection against cascading failures.

Requirements:

- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Go is a must)

- Understanding of basic algorithms and data structures

- Strong motivation to learn, grow, and develop as a backend engineer

- Willingness to work with complex systems and ask questions
