## Description

In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, visiting hospitals to perform software upgrades for automated medication dispensing devices.

Responsibilities:

- Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.

- Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.

- Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.

- Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment.

- Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.

- Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.

Requirements:

- Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments.

- Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or a related field preferred.

- 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.

- Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.

- Must maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors.

Assignments and Shifts:

- Assignment-based position requiring open availability Monday–Friday; work occurs 28–32 hours per week, plus travel time.

- Position requires some nights and weekends based on customer needs.

- Travel is regional, national, and local, with work scheduled during weekdays.

- Duties may require compliance with hospital vaccine and credentialing requirements.

Vaccine/Immunization/Hospital Credentialing Requirement:

- Upon selection, individuals must complete the healthcare facility credentialing process, meeting immunization requirements specified by the facility, typically including Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine, Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine, Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test, Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine, Hepatitis B vaccine, Influenza vaccine (seasonal), and COVID-19 vaccine primary series.

Note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.

The potential base pay range for this role is $30-32 per hour.
