- Serve as Lead Structural Engineer or Project Manager on mid-sized to large projects, responsible for scope definition, budgets, schedules, and technical quality.

- Coordinate closely with architects, owners, contractors, and multi-discipline engineering teams to integrate structural systems with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and specialty systems.

- Develop efficient, constructable gravity and lateral systems that respond to site constraints, airfield restrictions, seismic and wind demands, and owner requirements.

- Perform site visits, field investigations, and respond to construction administration requests including RFIs, submittals, and field observations.

- Prepare and implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).

- Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a confident and professional manner.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).

- 5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience.

- Engineer license preferred.

- Proficient with structural engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues.

- Knowledge and experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.

- Strong knowledge of structural systems for steel, concrete, composite, and specialty structures.

- Working knowledge with process and concepts for sustainability, and reducing and eliminating the use or generation of hazardous substances/greenhouse gas.

- Well-defined specific knowledge of relevant structural and civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.

- Demonstrated high-level of self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

- Works independently with minimal oversight and provides guidance and leadership to junior team or project members.

- Highly proficient with technical writing, office automation, discipline-specific structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, RISA, SAFE, or similar) with advanced modeling and parametric analysis tools as applicable.

- AutoCAD and/or Revit for structural documentation.

- Strong proficiency with calculations, spreadsheets, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree in Engineering.

- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred.
