## Description

As a Training Supervisor at Biffa, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to drivers, loaders, operatives, and supervisors across various recycling and waste management contracts in Manchester.

Your core responsibilities will include:

- Providing operational support to depots, including assisting with Vehicle Gate Check, Crew Monitoring, and Route Risk Assessment targets

- Mentoring staff to correct unsafe or non-compliant behaviours

- Reporting major vehicle cleanliness or condition issues to the Business Manager

- Delivering training aligned with Group Training Standards and contractual obligations

- Coaching drivers to improve skills, reduce accidents, and prevent Operator Licence contraventions

- Conducting depot-based training on key operational practices, including wheel torquing, manual handling, and vehicle defect checks

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A valid LGV Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence

- A valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

- Working knowledge of transport and other relevant legislation

- Previous experience in the waste or service industry

- IT literacy, with the ability to use business software and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
