## Description

Spire Bristol Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Children’s Nurse to join our team on a Full Time basis.

The Specialist Nurse - CYP role involves delivering excellent pre and post-surgical care to paediatric patients, assisting in clinics, minor operations, and recovery, as well as providing family-centred care to meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients.

Responsibilities include:

- Delivering excellent pre and post-surgical care to paediatric patients

- Assisting in clinics, minor operations, and recovery

- Providing family-centred care to meet the health and wellbeing needs of patients

- Providing and receiving complex, sensitive, or contentious information

- Developing own knowledge and skills and that of others

- Promoting best practice in Health and Safety, security, and safeguarding the welfare of children

Requirements:

- NMC registered Nurse with a Children’s qualification

- Previous experience within a surgical setting would be advantageous

- Extensive previous ward experience required
