## Description

Constellation Schools is seeking a highly qualified Building Substitute Teacher in Parma, Ohio. As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lesson plans, differentiating instruction, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, modifying them as needed

- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students

- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development

- Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction

- Manage student behavior in the classroom

- Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in

- Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms

- Communicate with families regarding student academic and social-emotional growth

- Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice

- Participate in non-instructional activities as needed

- Collaborate with colleagues

Requirements:

- Active Ohio teaching license in the relevant content area

- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field

- High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage confidential information

- Ability to supervise students of various ages in different school settings

- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks

- Experience working in an urban environment
