## Description

Davies Life & Health is seeking a Senior Applications Developer to join their IT team in Viman Nagar, Pune. As a Senior Applications Developer, you will be responsible for system development standards, designing and developing new applications to support business needs, and production support enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in evaluating business requirements and processes, preparing application system specifications, and developing, testing, and implementing efficient applications solutions.

- Provide design leadership and set direction for new systems development.

- Establish procedures for change control and product migration.

- Take ownership of systems and system-related problems, review documented business requirements and test plans, and provide technical feedback to Business Analysts.

- Ensure quality through thorough unit testing of all code and participating in systems integrated testing.

- Assist Business Analysts and End Users with technical issues during testing, training sessions, and demonstrations.

- Provide on-call support for production systems on a rotating basis.

- Maintain existing applications, write technical documentation, and document all code.

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with the team, co-workers, management, clients, and vendors.

- Provide technical coaching and mentoring to other team members.

Benefits:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or a combination of education and experience.

- 3-5 years' software development experience.

- Experience in developing systems using Visual Basic.NET, SQL Server, and XML.

- Experience in developing full-stack systems, including front-end and back-end layers of web or application development.

- Experience in working with Microsoft Office Suite, code management applications like GitHub, and DevOps deployment.
