## Description

We are seeking a Senior Security Risk Officer to join our Risk Management and Control team at Mollie. As a senior member of a small team, you will work closely with product teams to ensure new products hold up against regulations without adding risk for our customers. You will also screen new tools and vendors entering the organisation, owning the security angle.

**Your Impact** You will partner with colleagues to build new or updated products, manage and deploy IT assets, and implement risk and security controls while ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. You will drive efficiencies and adherence to relevant governance and champion them across the organisation.

**Responsibilities**

- Partner with colleagues to build new or updated products, manage and deploy IT assets and implement risk and security controls while ensuring adherence to relevant regulations (DORA, PSD2, GDPR, AI Act, CRA, NIS2, etc.).

- Together with senior stakeholders of Risk and Compliance, set out second-line risk priorities and initiatives.

- Foster a strong risk culture across the entire organisation; support a growing organisation in all relevant areas.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes in internal/external audits and certifications (PCI-DSS, SOC2, etc.).

- Translate complex regulations into actionable guidance, championing a risk culture that balances commercial success with compliance.

**Requirements**

- 7-10 years of relevant experience.

- Technical comfort with different technology platforms and ability to dive into technical documentation and system architectures.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain risk decisions to both technical and business stakeholders.

- Can-do attitude and creative problem-solving skills.

- Customer focus, always considering customer impact when making security and risk decisions.

- Inquisitive approach, ready to experiment and find better ways to solve problems.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Payments/fintech experience.

- Certified CISSP or CISM, and/or cloud certification (GCP).

- Advanced University Degree in Information Technology or another relevant technological study.
