## Description

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, providing various services including food delivery, financial management, and ride-hailing.

You will report to the Engineering Manager, Insurance Operations, based in Malaysia and develop backend systems powering accounting, reporting, and third-party integrations for insurance products.

The critical tasks you will perform:

- Develop high-quality and scalable backend applications for accounting, reporting, and integration services

- Build and maintain third-party integrations (ISM, APAD, JPJ) for regulatory compliance

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to solve challenging problems

- Collaborate with diverse teams to design and ship new features

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge

- Troubleshoot, debug complex issues, and provide quick resolutions

- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction

- Participate in On-Call rotations to ensure service reliability

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of relevant experience in software development

- Proficiency in Java (preferred) and/or Golang

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Git

- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS)

- Experience with clean architecture principles and SOLID principles

- Experience with financial/regulatory systems is a plus
