## Description

We are seeking a trainee lawyer to join our patent law team in Germany. As a trainee, you will work closely with our experienced lawyers on high-profile patent cases, including international disputes and cross-border issues.

Our patent law group is one of the leading teams in Germany, and we represent innovative companies in patent-related disputes. Our clients rely on us to protect their technical intellectual property and defend their technology.

As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through our HLC Next program, which includes mentoring, on-the-job training, and support for preparing for the second state exam.

Responsibilities:

- Assist experienced lawyers with patent-related cases

- Conduct research and analyze complex technical and legal issues

- Draft documents and pleadings

- Participate in court proceedings and client meetings

Requirements:

- Completed first state exam in law at a German university with a minimum grade of 'vollbefriedigend'

- Interest in economic issues and business processes

- Good knowledge of office applications

- Excellent English language skills

- Desirable: first experience abroad or in a law firm through internships
