## Description

Spreetail is seeking a Senior Fulfillment Operations Manager to join its Away Team, a small, elite group supporting facility launches, crisis response, and operations excellence across its fulfillment network.

This role involves leading Area Managers and FC Leads across the network, building operational mastery, and deploying where needed. The successful candidate will partner with Site Directors to run day-to-day operations, own facility P&L performance, and build a bench of leaders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Making Safety Non-Negotiable: Holding safety standards at every site, assessing conditions, holding Area Managers accountable, driving engineering and ergonomic fixes, and treating near-misses as learning opportunities.

- Running the Building: Owning facility performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, running operations through standard work and leadership teams.

- Financial Ownership: Understanding facility and network P&L, discussing controllable lines in dollars, finding and closing financial bleeds.

- Network Deployment & Crisis Response: Traveling a minimum of 25% of the time to assigned and activated facilities.

- Capacity & Labor Planning: Anticipating volume swings, planning capacity, space, and hiring, modeling costs, and preparing facilities for 100% on-time shipping execution.

- Building the Bench: Developing Area Managers and FC Leads, owning individual development plans, delegating with follow-up.

- Cross-Functional Influence: Partnering with various teams to align site operations with Spreetail's supply chain strategy.

- Future FC Placement: Preparing for a permanent senior operations leadership role at a new Spreetail fulfillment center.

**Requirements:**

- 5+ years in fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution (ecommerce preferred).

- 5+ years of management experience, including leading Area Managers or other salaried leaders.

- A track record of building safety-first cultures.

- Proven ability to develop and promote entry-level talent.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or an analytical Business field, or equivalent experience.

- Proficient in Excel, forecasting, and scorecard and dashboard performance management.

- Comfortable leading in new environments and building trust quickly with teams.

- Willing and able to travel a minimum of 25% of the time.
