## Description

As a Buying Assistant - Womenswear Footwear at NEXT Wholly Owned Brands, you will play a crucial role in managing the product journey from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage the critical path by liaising with Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure a smooth product journey.

- Maintain oversight of key dates and proactively highlight any risks or concerns.

- Develop a deep understanding of the product range by managing fabric approvals, fit samples, and shoot samples.

- Take full responsibility for managing all department samples.

- Support the Buying team during trade meetings by demonstrating knowledge of best and worst sellers.

- Present department reactions and best sellers to the wider business.

- Conduct regular competitor shopping reports and present insights on retail activity and fashion trends.

- Accurately and efficiently update and input critical information into buying systems.

- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships across the business.

**Requirements:**

- Experience as a Buying Assistant or in a fashion or retail environment.

- Genuine fashion passion, commercial curiosity, and the drive to learn.

- Strong organisational and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
