## Description

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) Manager to oversee the implementation of AAP mechanisms in our programmes.

The AAP Manager will be responsible for:

- Managing feedback mechanisms and ensuring accessibility, confidentiality, and functioning according to institutional standards

- Receiving, registering, classifying, and responding to queries, suggestions, complaints, and concerns from affected populations

- Monitoring response times and following up on pending cases

- Maintaining accurate records of feedback mechanisms and verifying data quality

- Implementing surveys, focus groups, and interviews to evaluate community perception of programme quality

- Providing technical assistance to implementing partners to strengthen feedback mechanisms and accountability

- Coordinating with programme teams and other areas to follow up on feedback actions

- Contributing to organisational culture strengthening through training and technical support

- Identifying risks, patterns, and opportunities for improvement from community feedback

The successful candidate will have:

- A degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, or Statistics

- At least 1 year of experience in a humanitarian setting, preferably with an NGO

- Experience in data collection, processing, analysis, and presentation

- Familiarity with data collection tools such as Kobo Toolbox and CommCare

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
